Dr Raymond Ladele

GP & Diabetes/Weight Management Specialist

Dr. Raymond Ladele’s journey in medicine began at UCH Ibadan, Nigeria, where he graduated in 2006. He moved to the UK in 2009 and earned an MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy from the University of Birmingham. After completing his GP training in Coventry and Warwickshire, Dr. Ray discovered his passion for diabetes care and has been running specialist clinics since 2018. To further his knowledge and expertise, he completed a postgraduate diploma in diabetes care at the University of Leicester in 2022.

Dr. Ray was the Associate Medical Director and Diabetes Lead for Coventry & Rugby GP Alliance, where he oversaw specialist diabetes clinics. Today, he works across private practice and the NHS, while contributing his expertise in A&E. As a Diabetes UK Clinical Champion, he is dedicated to improving diabetes care across the UK and helping patients live healthier lives.

When he’s not working, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He loves to travel and has recently taken up padel tennis and pickleball, which he plays twice a week to unwind and stay active.
